The piece is a German silver (not sterling
silver) butterfly pin. This is one of the
best examples of hand chased work that we
have seen in a long time. The pin was probably
late 1940’s or early 1950’s. It
measures 2 7/8 inches high by 2 7/8 inches
wide.
