allow me to introduce myself. My name is John Basko. I have
been restoring antique jewelry for over 20 years. From the
mid 1970’s to the mid 1980's. I was a contracted craftsman
who worked with 56 different accounts.
The extreme
stress and pressure lead me to go out on my own in 1986. My
wife Debbie facets gemstones, as well as performs lapidary
work. Our son, Adonis, has been doing lapidary work for 18
years. We are very skilled at what we do, as well as being
quite knowledgeable on antique jewelry. We can spot a reproduction
or "antique-like" jewlery from a mile away. "Reproductions
are reproductions." We only offer authentic pieces at
a reasonable price.
Our hand
set marcasite pieces are classic and restored to display the
original craftsmanship of the 1930’s. Most marcasite
pieces found on the Internet are glued instead of being handset.

There will
be a 6% sales tax for all buyers in the state of Michigan.
All transactions must be conducted in United States currency.
Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. Please send your personal
check, money order, or certified check to Silverworks Antiques;
PO Box 725424, Berkley, Michigan 48072. All payments should
be made out to "Silverworks Antiques." Please understand
that personal checks may take up to 10 business days to clear.
Money orders and certified checks will take two business days
to clear.
Shipping
& Handling
The piece(s)
will be shipped via certified, insured U.S. mail carrier unless
otherwise specified by the customer after payment is received.
If you wish to have insurance or other special shipping requests,
please let us know and arrangements will be made (with an
additional charge). If you order more than one item within
a relatively close time frame, we will be happy to ship the
items together to save you shipping charges.
